Introducing The Robins' Squad Ahead of 25/26 Season!

The manager and his staff have assembled a talented group of players for the upcoming campaign
Here we go then! Next week marks the beginning of pre-season as an exciting squad of Robins commence preparations for the 25-26 season in the Southern League's Division One South!
Speaking exclusively to Dodge The Question podcast and announcing his twenty-strong squad and a new-look backroom team, Danny Greaves maintained that expectations remain high despite freshening up the group: "The players who have committed are staying here for the right reasons. There's a bit of hurt there from last year. The new players are coming in with a fresh energy, lots of ability. Combine those two things, I think we're in for a very good season."
On the departures of several players after the Robins' 24-25 relegation, the manager admitted: "It was always a fear of mine that there could be a large number of players leaving, but I think they’ve all gone with our blessing. They've left for either logistical reasons or they're playing at a higher level of football and you can't knock those reasons."
Greaves has the right to be optimistic after his addition of nine talented recruits. He said "They’re all good lads and extremely good footballers, good players, good characters, and will fit into the dressing room really well. They’ve got the right characteristics and the right attributes to play how we want to play."
Ahead of his eighth season at the helm, he also praised the club’s loyal fans who unsurprisingly stuck by the team during the tougher moments of last season: "Even though we were not picking up the results, we averaged over 500 for a home gate. It just shows what great support we've got. Stick with us - everyone’s really excited, particularly with the squad we’re building here!"
