Theo Lynden Joins Ahead of 25/26 Season!

We welcome the young midfielder to BA11 as the recruitment push continues!
The Club is delighted to have agreed to sign Theo Lynden from Melksham.
Theo signed for the Wiltshire side last summer having enjoyed a couple of loan stints at the Oakfield Stadium while a scholar at Bristol Rovers Academy. A young left-footed midfielder, he featured regularly having left the Gas' youth set-up and enjoyed a breakthrough season in the Black and Yellow's lineup.
On adding another name to his squad, manager Danny Greaves said: "Theo is another young player with huge potential, coupled with a hunger and desire to improve and progress in his football career. We needed to add a left-sided player, and one with versatility was also key. He can play anywhere down the left as a full-back or wing-back, but also in midfield.
"We had him in last pre-season, but, at that time, we felt he needed some more senior game time before being ready for Step 3 which we were getting ready to compete in.
"He got that at Melksham last year, making 47 appearances in all competitions to add to his previous loan appearances for them the season before. He also gained further experience as part of Weston-super-Mare's Somerset Cup victorious squad last season while training with their academy."
On beginning his Badgers Hill career, Theo said: "I’m buzzing to come in and get started. My aim is to hit the ground running and help Frome win as many games as possible this season."
