We are delighted to confirm that Warren Maidment has committed to another season with the Robins. Our commanding centre-back Warren featured 25 times last season. Since joining from Melksham in the summer of 2019, our popular defender has 91 appearances for the Robins.
Warren Maidment commented: "When asked to sign another year for Frome it was a no brainer for me. Frome are a massive club with all the right ambitions which match mine.This coming season will be my fourth with the club and I’ve enjoyed every moment I’ve had here. The fans and the board members are second to none in this division and the support we receive from them is always immense. I have ambitions to move up and play the highest level I can, and I believe this can be with Frome as I feel what we’ve built over the past 3 seasons has been something amazing and would love to progress with this club as it’s been nothing but good to me. Finally I want to thank the supporters again! When we’re out there playing you are our twelfth man and get us over the line some weeks. We couldn’t ask for any more from you. With your continued support I really feel that we can do something special this coming season! Up the dodge."
Danny Greaves stated: "I'm delighted Waz has agreed to commit and extend his contract with the club. His last 2 seasons have been disrupted by injury, but inbetween those injuries he has put in many high quality performances and continues to grow year on year. He has so much more to give and I believe he will continue to grow into a top centre half."
