Following our AGM, the club can confirm that Director Jonothan Carver has stepped down from our board of Directors. However, Jon will remain with us in a new role as minutes secretary to the board. The club are delighted to ensure that Jon remains a part of our future.
Over the last three season’s we have been fortunate to have found a remarkable Director in the form of Jonothan Carver, whose tireless efforts and commitment have played a pivotal role in shaping the club's progress. Jonothan's contributions span across various aspects of the club's operations, demonstrating his passion and unwavering support. We would like to express heartfelt gratitude to Jonathan Carver for his invaluable services to Frome Town Football Club.
Jonothan Carver's role as Vice Chairman has gone far beyond the boundaries of a typical board member. One of his key responsibilities has been to provide legal representation for all club matters. His expertise in this area has undoubtedly safeguarded the club’s existence and ensured compliance with many legal requirements. Jonathan's dedication towards driving transparency and maintaining a managed budget has been commendable. By actively driving our board meetings and holding all directors accountable for their actions, Jon has helped foster an environment of responsible decision-making and financial prudence.
As a lead representative for Frome Town AFC, Jon has been instrumental in making the club's vision a reality. His involvement in the planning and execution of the new Community Benefit Society (CBS) has been pivotal in shaping the future of Frome Town Football Club. Jon has also acted as the club's representative on Frome Town Holdings board, where he has strengthened the club's position, whilst ensuring increased communication and collaboration between the different entities.
Jonothan's dedication extended beyond the boardroom. Where Jon actively participates in various club activities, demonstrating his commitment to the community and the club. Whether it is running and organising raffles, supporting community projects, or supporting the 50:50 prize draw, Jonothan has consistently shown his willingness to go above and beyond to contribute to the club's success.
His passion for Frome Town Football Club is evident in his matchday involvement. From sitting on the ticket gates to manning the PA system, Jon goes the extra mile to ensure that matches run smoothly and fans have an enjoyable experience. Jonothan's hands-on approach exemplifies his dedication and willingness to do whatever it takes to make matchdays memorable.
