The club are delighted to confirm the appointment of Leah Poole as our new Community Manager.
Leah has a wealth of experience in football, most recently having been our Academy Manager for the past 3 seasons. Leah is a UEFA B qualified coach, who has coached at the highest tier in womens football in the FA WSL, as well as Head Coach for Mens and EFL Academy Teams.
Leah's career has seen her also work for the FA as a Tutor, Disability Scout and as an FA Coach Mentor for several years.
However, prior to a career in coaching Leah had 14 successful years in marketing, sales and events. Where Leah will be bringing these skills to the club as Leah studies towards her Level 4 Advanced Youth Award (UEFA A License equivalent).
Our new community manager role will be taking on the responsibility of ensuring our club remains at the heart of our community. Where we continue to strengthen our commitment to the people of Frome and the wider areas.
As well as our #BA11 Live event and our continuing relationship with Fair Frome, Leah will be looking to expand our relationships further into the local schools, community groups and charities in the area. As well as those that work in our community to make Frome the best place to be. With exiting initiatives such as our Kitmas campaign to help the children and families of Frome who may not be in a position to afford to come to matches or show their support. The community manager role will be looking to support any organisations or initiatives wherever we can. We hope that you all join us in thanking Leah for taking on this important role at the club, and if you wish to contact Leah about any futures initiatives you can at communitymanager@frometownafc.co.uk
