A new face is coming to the Hill, as we welcome Dodge the Dog to our #BA11 family.
We are delighted to announce that our Supporters Club are introducing a new club Mascot called Dodge the Dog to the club on Friday 3rd February at our Friday night match vs Bishops Cleeve. Dodge will be there to meet and greet the children in attendance at that match and future home matches. Dodge has been sponsored by our friends at The Carpet Factory Frome and will be wearing our main home kit. A big thank you to Adam and Erica King for their support.
New Supporters Club Chairman Lester Silk has driven this initiative to help create a more family friendly atmosphere in the stadium. Lester commented:
"The Supporters Club are pleased to announce our new signing Dodge the Mascot, sponsored by The Carpet Factory Frome. We currently believe we might be one if not the only club in the Southern League to have a mascot. Thank you to everyone that has given their support, especially Adam and Erica King of The Carpet Factory Frome for the sponsorship. Please come along to our game on Friday 3rd February against Bishops Cleeve where you can meet Dodge and have the opportunity to have your photos with him."
The fun won't stop there as in the coming weeks Dodge the Dog will be leading further activities both at the ground and online. Communications Director Scott Fitzgibbon commented, "We can't thank the Supporters Club enough for their efforts in getting this idea off the ground and making it happen for the good of all the younger children that are coming to our games. As a club it's now our opportunity to build on this initiative and continue to make our football accessible to everyone in Frome and the surrounding areas. Dodge will definitely be popping up in other areas including online and around the ground"
