As preparations start for 25-26, Frome Town are now looking to recruit a suitable candidate to fill the role of Goalkeeping Coach for the upcoming campaign!
We are looking for a passionate candidate with the ability to lead the development and performance of our first-team, as well as up-and-coming, goalkeepers.
The successful candidate will design and implement training programs, provide matchday support, and collaborate closely with the managerial and coaching team to ensure our keepers perform at their highest level.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver training sessions aligned with the club’s tactical approach.
• Provide individualised coaching and feedback.
• Conduct pre-match warm-ups.
• Analyse goalkeeper performances using video and data analysis tools.
Qualifications & Experience
• FA Level 2 in Coaching Goalkeepers is desirable but not essential
• Experience of playing or coaching at semi-professional or professional levels.
• Strong understanding of technical, tactical, and psychological aspects of goalkeeping.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends, including matchdays.
Working Hours
• Training sessions are typically held on Monday and Wednesday evenings.
• Availability required for all first-team matches, including weekends and occasional midweek fixtures.
