The Scarlet Runners continue their whistle-stop tour of Western League grounds on Wednesday evening with a trip to the Aitchison Playing Fields, home of Oldland Abbotonians.

Managed by former Robin Kris Miller, the O's will be embarking upon their third campaign at Step Five having achieved a creditable tenth-place finish in the Jewson Premier last term.
Formed following a merger of Oldland and Longwell Green Abbotonians in the late 90s, they have made steady progress up the non-league pyramid (they were Step Eight in 2005) and with their own competitive fixtures kicking-off a full fortnight before the Southern League, they should provide Danny Greaves' charges with their toughest pre-season test to date.
Mercifully, playing conditions will be nowhere near as oppressive as the furnace-like feeling of last weekend when, it has to be said, the whole squad performed admirably in such challenging heat. The winter game...
Squad Update
Ahead of the tie, Danny Greaves gave brief run-down on selection this week: "After using a squad of 20 for the opening two games, a smaller squad of 17 will travel to Oldland on Wednesday.
"Sam Teale will miss one more game and we will make a late decision on whether to give Kyle Phillips some minutes or leave it for a few more days. Theo Lynden and Theo Llewellyn miss out through unavailability.
"The aim of the next block of games this week is to increase the minutes for most of the players with a mixture of 90s and 60s over the next couple of games."
