Thanks to a generous local businessperson, this season FTW are proud to be able to support local charity, Active and In Touch.
Active and In Touch explain a bit more about the charity:
“Active and In Touch supports isolation and loneliness in the community and surrounding villages. We do this by 1:1 befriending, group meetings which could incorporate a coffee and chat or creative groups for a more structured session.
We opened a cafe at the Frome Medical Practice in March. Not only do we serve great coffee but it is a space for groups to meet and another point of contact for those feeling lonely or isolated.
Come and join us at our pop up book shop at 22 Christchurch Street in Frome. We have an array of wonderful books for a small donation or pop in for a cuppa and a chat!”
