We are delighted to announce the striker Luke Hopper to the club from Yate Town.
Luke, 33, is an experienced goalscorer with an impressive 1 in 3 goal ratio in at the National League levels. Joining from South League side Yate Town having also played for Hungerford Town, Chippenham Town, Salisbury, Swindon Supermarine, Gloucester City and Australian clubs South Melbourne and Dandenong Thunder. Luke is a strong, hold up forward with a keen eye for goal with over 130 goals in 330+ games so far in his career.
Luke commented, "Really excited to be joining Frome, the ambition is clear to see. Once I spoke to the gaffer he excited me for the season ahead. Looking forward to meeting all the lads and getting going."

He will bring additional attributes to the team which we lacked at times in key periods last season through his physicality and ability to hold the ball up and link up play. Another key element is his experience which will be key to us for another promotion push, not to mention his excellent goal scoring record which has mainly been achieved in the leagues above at step 2 and 3."
