We are delighted to announce the return of full back Ben Withey to the club from Bitton following spells at Swindon Supermarine and Paulton Rovers.
Ben, 25, is a versatile wing back that is full of energy who rejoins the club after playing nearly 50 times for the club in 17/18 season. Following that season Ben has spent a majority of the next few years at Paulton Rovers.
Ben commented, "I’m really happy to be back at Frome especially with how well they done last season. Excited to get the season started and hopefully push for promotion again this year."
Manager Danny Greaves stated, "I am really pleased to be welcoming Ben back to the Frome. Ben previously played for the club as a young 18 year old and was well liked by everyone at the club. He has since gone on to play lots of Southern League football with the likes of Swindon Supermarine and Paulton, before spending a year with ambitious Western League side Bitton. Ben will add lots of quality and tenacity to the team and further strengthens the squad."
