Manager Danny Greaves is pleased with how his squad reacted to a tough test at home to Weymouth last weekend, as we look ahead tomorrow's vital trip to Staines Town.
The Robins put in a much improved performance against the league high-flyers, despite losing 2-0 at Badgers Hill.
Greaves said: "Before last weekends game, the main emphasis was making sure our performance showed everything you need in order to get out of trouble, and everything we maybe lacked in our previous 2 games.
"Plenty of effort, commitment, togetherness and personal pride. I felt we delivered that, but also showed a more forward thinking, front foot performance whereby we created a number of chances and looked a threat against the best team in the division.
"Plenty of effort, commitment, togetherness and personal pride" - Greaves on Weymouth performance
"It took a free kick which was never a foul, and a break away goal at the end for the Champions elect to take the points.
"Ultimately we lost the game, but hopefully we gave our supporters some hope that the boys are up for the fight."
The Robins will come up against a very different kind of opponent tomorrow as they travel to Wheatsheaf Park.
Staines have only managed nine points so far this season but Greaves hope that his side can push on from last weekend's performance.
Greaves added: "Tomorrow we face a Staines side who clearly have their own troubles. But all we can do is focus on ourselves, and replicate last weeks levels.
"Staines will beat someone in the coming weeks and we need to make sure its not us. As with every game in this league you need to be bang on it in order to pick up the points.
"We have ten games to go, that's still a quarter of our season, 30 points to play for, so let's hope last week was the start of some positive performances, and tomorrow will be the start of some positive results."

We couldn’t have a much better squad here on our budget , it’s a blow losing Mapps , a top defender , but are fortunate to have Billy back as cover.Up front we now have a dangerous looking forward line. Have confidence !!!!
