Thank you James

The club can announce the departure of James Burgoyne from our media team. James leaves the post of our Matchday Media Liaison.

James joined the club nearly three years ago as a student placement. Where James was initially tasked with supporting our social media growth, before moving into more matchday focused role that has seen our coverage of matchdays improve hugely.

James’s biggest impact has been the quick and timely matchday updates for the club. Keeping everyone online away from The Robins’ Nest informed of the clubs progress. From helping to promote upcoming matches to the minute by minute coverage of games across Twitter and Facebook. James also conducted many of our post match video interviews with players and management team, alongside our match report write ups. All delivered to fans by the time they had barely got home.

“James has been a great asset to the club, without his help the club would not have been able to deliver the matchday experience online that we have been able to provide for the last 3 seasons. James’s interest in all aspects of non league helped provide player content and player insights that really helped set us apart.

I know that James has been able to learn a huge amount during his time here, non league football has really helped him grow his knowledge of how clubs run, whilst helping us to establish the standards of communication we want at this club” - Head of Marketing, Scott Fitzgibbon

As a club, we would like to thank James for his hours of hard work and the passion shown for the club during this time. We wish him all the best with his relocation and James is always welcome at the club.

The club will be looking restructure our media team in light of James’s departure and will make future announcements. However, if you are interested in helping the club please

get in contact.
