LOCKE SECURED: Young Keeper Commits To The Robins!


Frome Town FC are delighted to announce that Seth Locke will remain with the club for the 2020/21 season.


The young goalkeeper has immediately been sent out on-loan to Western League side Bishop Sutton AFC to gain first-team experience.


Locke has been a part of The Robins set up for the past two seasons, training with the first team as he continued to develop his game alongside appearing for Frome Town Sports.


Manager Danny Greaves is happy that Locke has committed his future to The Robins and pleased that the youngster will have the chance to gain some vital experience next season, whilst thanking The Bishops' manager Jon Toy.


He said: "I'm happy that Seth has re-signed for the upcoming season. He started training with us 2 years ago at the age of 16 and has develop physically and technically really well and very fast for one so young.


"I am pleased with have reached an agreement with Jon Toy at Bishop Sutton for Seth to go on loan for the upcoming season and get invaluable experience in the Western League, while still being in and around us for training and games when possible."


Locke is "looking forward" to the challenge of pushing fellow Robins 'keeper James Carey next season,


He said: "It's great to have signed with Frome for this season, I'm really looking forward to it. Hopefully I can push James and the lads in training and continue to develop myself and hopefully make my debut this season."
