Frome Town FC are delighted to announce that Rich Dawley will remain with the club for the 2019/2o season.
The local Frome lad, who can play right-back or in midfield, signed from Western League side Odd Down towards the end of last season.
He made his debut for The Robins in the Somerset Premier Cup semi final loss against Taunton Town in March.
Manager Danny Greaves is happy to have secured the services of Dawley for upcoming season.
He said: "I am delighted Rich has re-signed. He came in towards the end of last season and put in some very good performances in very difficult circumstances which also shows the terrific strength of character he has.
"A great lad, with an even better attitude, and really looking forward to working with him again."
Dawley is delighted to have resigned at Badgers Hill, meaning he will represent his hometown club next season.
He said: "Coming in at the end of last season and seeing the professionalism and ambition of the club, made it a no brainer to re-sign for the coming season. Being a local lad and playing for my hometown club makes it even more special."
