We are delighted to announce that club captain Sam Teale has signed a new one year deal with the Robins to see him start his 6th full season with the club.
Our commanding centre back has been in fantastic form over the two disrupted seasons and has grown into a hugely dependable centre back inspiring all the team around him.
Sam Teale commented “I’m over the moon with it to be fair, the last season before we should have been promoted. With last season not really getting started. I’m looking forward to getting back, as hopefully this time we will finish the job and get promoted. …we need to be looking minimum of play-offs, but ideally I want to be winning the league this year. The priority for me this season is the league.”

Manager Danny Greaves commented: " I am delighted to have secured Sam again for a further year. The fact that we have once again agreed to do so on a contract basis shows our faith in him, and his faith in us as our club, and our aims and ambitions align. He has been a massive player and captain for us in my time at the club, and I expect his influence on and off the pitch to only grow as Sam gets older and more experienced as he has shown already. He is a much better player and captain now compared to 3 years ago.
