Ryan Atkins previews this Sunday's Women's match away vs Stockwood Wanderers

After last week's heartbreaking defeat at home to Poole Town, Frome Town Women are well prepared for this Sundays game. Despite defeat last week we put in a strong performance against a very strong side and Frome will be looking to build on that when we travel to Stockwood on Sunday.

Frome Town Women will be looking to bounce back with victory at Stockwood Wanderers in Bristol.

Stockwood have started with 3 wins out of 3 while Frome Town have 1 win and 2 defeats this season.

Stockwood were in Frome's league last season. In which we defeated them twice including in the cup and they also narrowly beat us last season in the league.

Stockwood have strengthened since last season bringing in new players.

The team will be wanting to bounce back after an incredible performance with the wrong result in my opinion. Frome will battle hard to make it consecutive away wins in the league and with the squad we have I definitely can see us getting at least a point from the game on Sunday.

Team News

Frome would like to welcome new additions Lucy and Alice Owen signed from Frome Town United u16s who will be included in the squad for the first time on Sunday.

Frome will be taking a very strong side to Stockwood with hope of getting back to winning ways after last week's defeat.

Good luck to our assistant manager Tom Bond who is running Bath Half Marathon this Sunday for charity.
