Frome Town Women fall to defeat in first round of Somerset Cup against Weston Super Mare Women at the Optima 3G stadium.
It was a tough day for Frome Town Women where the chances were kept to a minimum against a strong Weston side.
Weston started strongly when they scored in the first minute, from a break on the right.
On a day where the chances were limited for Frome in the fifth minute a Minty corner finds Starr who was impressive throughout and headed just wide of the post. Then Weston grabbed a 2nd.
Just before the interval, Hill wins a penalty which captain Keira-Leigh Underhill fires the penalty past the keeper in the bottom right corner to give Frome hope.
Weston continued to create chances and restrict Frome to half chances with Peet and having half chances Harris
The game finished 6 1.
Today was a tough day against a good Weston side which have massively improved from last season.

Frome will be looking to bounce back when we return to league action on Sunday against Bath City at home at Badgers Hill free entry.
