We are delighted to announce that forward Rex Mannings has signed a one year deal with the Robins to sees him enter his 4th season with the club.
Rex, 21, has fast become a fan favourite with his ability will the ball. Rex's talents have seen the goals and assists follow as Rex has taken to Southern League football with ease. With 21 goals in 75 appearances, as Rex became a firm fixture in the first team. The former Oxford City academy player, joined SGS College under the great tutorship of Dave Hockaday to continue his apprenticeship as a footballer. Alongside this, Rex had one season at Bristol Manor Farm, before we signed him part way through the 18/19 season.
Rex commented “I’m very happy about signing a contract with Frome for the next season. I’m just waiting for (the season) to come really, it’s been a long time…It’s good to get back to training and get the ball back at my feet."

Manager Danny Greaves commented: "I am pleased to have secured Rex for the next 12 months. He is a player I really enjoy working with. His energy and attitude towards football is infectious. The lad has unbelievable ability, but as with every young player, he needs that game time and experience to understand the game, and improve his decision making. This season he has continued to improve, and has played in a slightly deeper position at times but has taken that onboard fantastically well, which shows his maturity as a footballer. Coming into what will now be his fourth season at the club, I really expect Rex to kick on, and this will be a big season for him."
