The Robins are in cup action tomorrow night (Tuesday 19th February) as we head to Shepton Mallet for a Somerset Premier Cup Quarter-Final tie. Here’s our preview…

LAST TIME OUT IN THE SOMERSET PREMIER CUP -


Frome Town progressed in the Somerset Premier Cup after and assured away win against Cheddar.


Frome started brightly and were dominating possession but trying hard to make openings. The breakthrough came on 24 mins as Sam Teale rose high to head home from a Knowles corner. Then on 27 mins Kris Scott hit the post with a great effort and Knowles was on hand to score the follow-up from the edge of the box. Cheddar pulled a goal back 5 mins before halftime.


The second half saw TJ Davis and Josh Brace come on at half time for Kris Scott & OLoughlin. With Kane Simpson on for Miller on 65 mins. In the 82nd minute Simpson put in the third after fine play from Davis-Wilson. Final score was 3-1 and Frome progress into the quarter-finals of the Somerset Premier Cup.
