Fletcher during his time at Bradford Town

Frome Town FC are delighted to announce the signing of defender Billy Fletcher from Melksham Town.

Fletcher is well-known by Danny Greaves, playing under The Robins manager at Bradford Town last season.

He said: “Playing under Danny previously gave me my enjoyment back for football. I’m looking forward to playing for the club and can’t wait to get started”.

He made 31 appearances for The Bobcats during the 2017/18 season, before making the switch to Evo-Stik Division One South side Melksham.

Midfielder Dan Demkiv will be heading to the Oakfield Stadium as a part of the deal, he was an ever-present for The Robins this season.
