Last August, on the opening day of the season, No.11 Matt Smith suffered a ruptured ACL against Evesham in what was his 300th appearance for the club. Nearly 11 months on, the Robins stalwart has finally had a successful operation.
The midfielder will now go through a period of rest before starting his rehabilitation. As you can imagine, Matt is determined to get back out on the pitch and we cannot wait to see him in a red shirt gracing the Badgers Hill pitch again soon.
