League Update: Promotions and relegations

The FA and Southern League have now released the details of the competition structure for the 21/22 season.

The FA regulations for Steps 4 are:

• 1 automatic promotion place with Champions go up in each league

• 1 playoff promotion place for the team that finishes 2nd-5th place

• 2 automatic relegation spaces for the teams who finish 18th and 19th.

• Teams who finish 16th & 17th will face a Step 5 side who finished 2nd in a play-off
