Our final friendly saw us fall to a 2-1 defeat to Larkhall Athletic, having gone 1-0 up on the stroke of half time with a penalty from Chris Allen.
Frome took the lead after Kris Miller was bought down in the area. Chris Allen calmly put away the penalty. Watch the penalty below.
After half time and a string of substitutions, the game lost its fluidity for Frome and a quick goal after the restart took advantage of the reshuffle. Larkhall scored a deserved second late on to finish the match.

"While disappointed to lose any game, we can take a number of positives from the it, but also a few things to work on during the week prior to the season opener against Hendon.
We played the same starting 11 as Tuesday and we had some heavy legs out there and didn't look as sharp as we did on Tuesday night. But it's about minutes into the legs and I now feel the majority of the squad are ready for the start.
Overall it's been a very pleasing pre-season. We have had a big turnover of players and the new and the old lads are beginning to gel, while also getting to know what I am about and what I am looking for on and off the pitch.
We are now very much looking forward to the Hendon match next Saturday, and are hoping for a positive performance and result to ensure we get off to the best possible start and get some points on the board."
