We can confirm that Midfielder Jamie Adams has joined Merthyr Town in the Southern League Premier Division. Jamie Adams has been mainstay in the side this season and we wish Jamie well in his football journey.
Adams joined us from Yate Town, featuring 28 times for the Robins, including 5 goals. Jamie leaves the club to meet his ambition to play as high as possible, with Merthyr looking to ignite their playoff hopes following a run of bad results. Manager Danny Greaves commented, "' I am naturally massively disappointed to lose Jamie. Whilst I understand his reasons and respect them. With us close to entering the final 2 months of the season, I felt we had unfinished business and still firmly have the playoffs in our minds which would have potentially fulfilled his desire to return to step 3 as we discussed in the summer.
