Danny Greaves has "no complaints" after his side were well beaten 3-1 by Gosport Borough.
A brace from Boro’s Ryan Pennery sunk The Robins further into relegation trouble on the South Coast.
Greaves said: "As good as we were against Swindon Supermarine in our last game, we were the complete opposite end of the scale (at Gosport). We were second best in all departments and I can have no complaints about the result.
"We weren't helped by the fact that we had 2 experienced players call in unavailable on the morning of the game, which not only meant we had to make 2 enforced changes to a winning side, but also meant we have to play a number of players out of position to fill in.
"To be honest, that has summed up our season to date. Inconsistent performances and inconsistencies in availability and selection."
"To be honest, that (Gosport loss) has summed up our season to date" - Greaves
Greaves' squad will be right back into the thick of the action on Tuesday night, as they travel to fellow Southen League strugglers Dorchester Town.
He added: "We had been in fairly decent form leading up to yesterday's game, with 4 wins in 8, and after defeat against Gosport, we must bounce back straight away with a result against Dorchester, and make it 5 wins in 10 which would be a decent return.
"We know what to expect from Dorchester. They are a good side on their day, proven by their excellent FA Trophy run.
"They will come into the game on the back of a great win against Harrow Borough, but I'm more concerned about us, and which Frome Town will turn up. We have to be right at it, can't feel sorry for ourselves, and need a reaction."
