Greaves: "A massive improvement"

Danny Greaves was happy with how his squad responded after Saturday's dissapointing performance, despite losing away at Salisbury.

A first half wonder goal from Chris Shephard gave the hosts a 1-0 New Year's Day victory over The Robins at The RayMac.

Greaves said: "Much better performance today against a top team. Much more in line with the performances we have put in through December, and a massive improvement following Saturday's disappointing second half display.

"On another day we could have converted one of the three or four good openings we had and we take a point.

"It wasn't to be on the day, but if we perform like we have over the past four weeks, excluding the Tiverton game, we will pick up the required points.

"We now regroup and look forward to what is a very important home game against Wimborne."

The Robins are back at Badgers Hill on Saturday, as they face Wimborne Town in what will be a crucial match for Danny Greaves' side. Tickets: https://t.co/c7iWltun7P
