Frome Town Women suffer heartbreaking last minute 3-2 defeat at home to in form Poole Town in the South West Regional Women's Football League on a sunny afternoon at Badgers Hill.
Frome Town were coming into the game after a win and a defeat this season while Poole Town have started the season with 3 wins out of 3.
Frome welcomed back Karen Perkins for the game after illness last week and made 2 changes with Hill also coming in to the starting side.
Poole Town started brightly with captain Underhill clearing a effort off the line with a excellent header.
In the twenty third minute In form winger Rumens finds Underhill who attempts an audacious effort from outside the box and it dips over the goalkeeper and into the net for her second goal of the season to give Frome the lead.
Just after the half hour mark a Minty ball finds Harris who shot was saved by goalkeeper.
Then Poole equalise to make it 1 1 before a Underhill free kick is saved and falls to Peet who fires over.
After the break Frome started to Dominate possession with the defensive trio Off Bird, Didymus, Perkins and later on Ratcliffe very impressive throughout and the midfield duo of Starr and Underhill winning every battle in the midfield.
Harris tries from an impossible angle, an audacious attempt which wins Frome a corner.
Frome kept creating chances against an in form Poole side with Minty and Underhill going close.
Before in the 87th minute the pressure counted when a Minty pass finds the in form Harris who fired in past the keeper for her 4th goal of the season to give Frome a well deserved lead.
Before a late questionable free kick and a late winner gives Poole Town the win and break Frome hearts.
Keira Leigh Underhill Frome Town women Captain said : "Gutting result today, we definitely deserved something out of the game. It was a great team performance that we can take so many positives from. We will come back stronger next week."
