Jon Davies was made to wait until the 90th minute to get on the scoresheet versus stubborn opponents Lymington.
The first half saw a number of chances fall to the Robins as we looked to breakdown a well marshalled defence and an in form goalkeeper. It took until the 39' minute when Marcus Mapstone rose highest to head in a corner and claim his first goal since November 2019 (Barnstaple away).
The second half followed the pattern of the first with Lymington's keeper ensuring the score stayed down and that Lymington were still in the game. However, as injury time began Jon Davies provided that bit of magic, that saw a smart finish nestle in the corner before anyone realised the shot was even on.
The result sees us remain unbeaten this season and up into third place in the table. With it now being 6 games since the last defeat at Badger's hill in the league, with only 4 home defeats in the last 30 home league games. Next up Bath city away in the FA Cup.
