Frome suffered the first defeat of their pre-season campaign against Bath City at Badgers Hill on Tuesday evening.

A first-half brace from Cody Cooke was followed up by second half goals from Jordan Williams and Tom Smith to give the National League South side a 4-0 lead before Martin Lenihan scored a late consolation for the Robins.

Frome continue their preparations for the new season with a trip to Hallen AFC on Friday.

Manager Danny Greaves commented "It was a good performance against a very tough side. Clearly we're disappointed about the goals we conceded. However, I'm pleased with the chances we made and thoroughly deserved to get a goal at the end".
