Today we saw the draw of the Second Qualifying round and we've been pulled out of the hat away to the Isthmian league side Carshalton Athletic with the match scheduled to be played on the 9th of November. However Carshalton have FA Cup fixture that day, so we await confirmation on the date and time. At this point our Fixture against Barnstaple away on the 9th remains in place. Carshalton hail from in the London Borough of Sutton. They currently play in the Isthmian League Premier Division and are based at the War Memorial Sports Ground. They currently sit 9th in their league, with goals coming hard to come by, as the are currently falling short of their impressive 2nd place finish last season.
The Isthmain premier league is the eqivalent of the league above us in the pyramid, so being away and to a side in the league above will be a challenge for us, but one we are eagerly looking forward to.
