We are pleased to announce the signing of Evra Yao.
Evra joins us from Bootle FC where he had started the season, but has become available due to a relocation back to the Southwest.
Evra started his playing career in the Exeter City academy before moving north to join Bolton's academy set up. Spells in Slovenia, France, and a number of trials abroad followed before he returned to the UK last year.
Evra appeared for us in our recent friendly against Swansea, impressing many in attendance who were immediately calling for his signing and will be in the squad for today's fixture at home to Bracknell Town.
Danny Greaves talked up his newest recruit: "I'm pleased to add Evra to the squad. With Reece Rusher's long term injury and with JD still a few weeks away, we felt we were light in attacking options. With the use of five subs it's important to have those attacking options to change or freshen things up. Evra is a quick, strong and direct forward who will get people on the edge of their seats, and is a different option to what we have."
On signing up, Evra said, "Absolutely buzzing to join Frome Town! I can’t wait to hit the pitch and give it everything for the team and the fans. Ready to bring that fire to every match."
Welcome to BA11 and best of luck, Evra!
