Ethan Vaughan Signs!

We are pleased to announce the signing of the versatile Welshman from Taunton Town.

We welcome Ethan as he joins the Robins. He came off the bench to make his first appearance in yesterday's 1-1 draw in the FA Cup away at Easington Sports. Ethan can operate down either flank and in central midfield and will add further quality to our squad following recent injuries and departures. Ethan progressed through the Cardiff City’s Academy progressing into the club’s Under-18 team whilst also representing Wales at youth level.

Following his departure from Cardiff he joined Solihull Moors in the summer of 2022 in the National League. A loan spell at Stourbridge followed during the latter part of the campaign, before joining Cymru Premier outfit Pontypridd United for the 2023-24 season.

Danny Greaves spoke highly of his new signing: "It's been well documented we have a couple of long term injuries and a couple of departures in recent weeks so we needed to strengthen. I'm delighted to add Ethan to the group. He is equally comfortable with both feet and is technically superb and a real athlete. His versatility will be so important as he can operate in a number of positions. He is still young, hungry and ambitious and this move will benefit both parties. He had signed for Taunton during the summer, but when he became available, we took the opportunity to speak to him as everything aligned. I would like to thank Rich Luffman and Taunton for the speed in which they assisted with the paperwork to get the transfer done in time for this weekend's game."

Ethan said on his move to Badgers Hill, "I am delighted to sign for Frome. It's an ambitious club and this move is a great opportunity for me to showcase what I can do. I can’t wait to get going and play in front of the home fans!"

Welcome to BA11 and best of luck, Ethan!
