Danny Greaves was on hand to give us his thoughts following yesterday‘s win against Cirencester.
“(I’m) Really pleased with the win and 3 points.
The pitch was extremely difficult, but felt we handled it well and played some good stuff especially in the first half.
They had more of the second half, but we still had our moments. The sending off for Alex Monks with 15 minutes to go made the game harder, but the boys held on excellently showing great character once again.
There will be some heavy legs after not playing for 10 days and then putting a shift in on a very tough pitch so we will assess everyone over the next few days before picking a team for Tuesday's cup quarter final.
It was be great to see as many people through the gate on Tuesday night to cheer the lads on to a potential semi final. Cirencester have proved on both previous occasions what a good side they are so we need all the support we can get. Bring a friend or family member and enjoy what will hopefully be another good game between the two sides.”
