Crowdfunder: Your name can help save our #BA11 community

Help us by donating at: www.crowdfunder.co.uk/frometownfc

We are hoping our fans, followers and local residents can help us raise £20,000 to help save the club from financial crisis at this time. The first 300 people to pledge a donation will also receive an exclusive Club Pin Badge for showing their support to our cause. Find out how you and your name can help save our #BA11 Community.

Why are we crowdfunding and why now?

Every year is a financial struggle for non-league clubs, but this year we have been overtaken by unforeseen events. Whilst the health of our players, staff and supporters is at the forefront of our minds, we still need to bring this season to and end, with the sad knowledge there will be no more football played. We have been very open all season that the club needs further investment to continue to survive. Now that we are clear on the clubs league situation, we are in need of your support. All our contractual agreements, pitch costs and utility bills are still ongoing, so we are facing a larger financial predicament. As a club, we rely on heavily on our match day income and the valuable contributions made by our Supporters Club and proud sponsors. With the club house, our main source of income, also closed there is no revenue coming in across the bar or through the turnstiles.

So how can you help?

1) Your donations

We need your help. Any donation large or small will go a huge way to helping the club through this time and into the new season. We will be issuing commemorative club pin badges to our first 300 supporters to show our appreciation.

2) How your name can save our club

We are looking for you to pledge £50+ to help the club survive this crisis. We are proud of our #BA11 community and will display your generosity by putting your name on a seat in the stadium and adding your name to our new 'Wall of Thanks'.

3) You can name our stadium for the 2020/21 season

One lucky person will be chosen from our £50+ pledges to select our official stadium name for the 20/21 season. This can be your name, a name of choice or on behalf of a company or charity. The club will have to approve the name.

4) Become a #BA11 Saviour

We are also looking for 19 #BA11 Saviours to help our fans come to games for the next season for free. We are looking for donations of £2,000+ from fans or companies to buy every ticket to a designated match next season. The match-day would be yours with the thanks from all our fans. We will work with every 'Saviour' to make their game day special and memorable to all those involved. We know that fans are often the ones asked to help fund initiatives such as this one and we are hoping for 'Saviours’ to come in and show their support to our entire fan base. Allowing the people of Frome to enjoy live football free of charge for as many games as possible without finances preventing them from coming.

We remain committed to supporting our local #BA11 community throughout this time, enabling us to continue to support independent local charities and entities through our donations, active support or use of our club facilities.

“Our goal has been to give more people across Frome access to football and support local initiatives within our clubhouse. Our facilities are available to the local community groups and partners and we need this to continue” - Gary Collinson, Operations Director
