Frome started their second league game vs Combe as they did the previous week on the front foot, taking only 2 minutes for Enna Christmas to fire Frome into the lead after constant pressure.
5 minutes on the clock and a move starting with a good turn from Steph Isaacson in the middle of the park, followed by slick passing between Enna Christmas and Emily Petteford gave Mae Bristow the chance to slot the ball into the bottom corner.
On 15 minutes Emily Petteford almost got her rewards for great forward play but the post denied her. Straight after in the 16th minute Isaacson got away down the wing and crossed to the front post for Christmas to bag her 2nd . 19 minutes played and Mae Bristow feeds Steph Isaacson through on goal for her to score her first into the bottom left corner.
Any Combe attacks were dealt with comfortably by Brant, Edwards , Perkins & Ratcliffe at the back and they linked well with the midfield of Frome on every occasion to set yet more attacks. Fromes 5th of the half came again from Isaacson after being put through by Christmas.
Isaacson's hatrick soon came after a pinpoint cross from the byline after one of Maya's Saviour numerous runs down the wing.
With 15 minutes until half time Frome cranked up the pressure again and Keira-Leigh Underhill smashed a shot from outside the box onto the cross bar which cannoned in off home keepers back.
Frome came out in the 2nd half with a comfortable 7 goal cushion and stared to take control of the game with Betty Restorick in the Frome goal a spectator. To Combe's credit they never gave up and defended in numbers with resilience,
Frome were kept at bay for the first 20 minutes before a hand ball by the Combe centre back. With a penalty to Frome which was confidently put away by Underhill into the bottom corner leaving the keeper with no chance. The last 20 minutes played out with only one more goal scored expertly by Beth Smith with a cool finish into the bottom corner.
