Steve Jupp, BA11's Club Historian, previews another challenging tie against the Division newcomers in the FA Trophy!
After the high of Tuesday's pulsating victory over Plymouth Parkway, the Robins face yet more cup action on Saturday at Bemerton Heath Harlequins in the Second Qualifying Round of the FA Trophy.
It will be their second visit to Moon Park in little over five weeks, the venue of their only reverse so far this season when a chastening final half-hour (two red cards and three goals conceded) brought about a 3-1 defeat.
Danny Greaves' boys haven't looked back since, unbeaten in seven, winning six of them and racking up 19 goals in the process.
September ought to be officially designated 'Cup Month' with Saturday’s tie being their fifth in a row which, in itself, is testament to a successful side.
Bemerton too can be pleased with a more than decent start to the campaign, currently lying fifth in the table after suffering their first league defeat last week (2-1 at home to Bishops Cleeve) and, in the previous round of The Trophy, impressively saw-off Westbury 5-2.
Don't expect another replay if this one ends in a draw, Trophy rules are different in that games level at the end of normal time are settled by penalties.
Anyone fancy the drama of a shoot-out from twelve yards? Kyle Phillips maybe...
Match Details For those who plan on travelling to the game at Moon Park, tickets can be purchased on the gate with adult tickets priced at £10 and concessions at £7 according to the latest information provided.
Don't miss the chance to book tickets for our upcoming home fixture against the 'other Robins'!
What an amazing week - great wins over Plymouth and now we've put Bremerton firmly in their place. By this time next week we could be in a play off position and through to the 1st round proper of the FA Cup... and who would bet against us the way we 're playing at present.
Ramsgate also went through today beating a team from their own league 3-1 - so,again , very similar to us. Evesham lost again today in the league and are winless thus far , so Tuesday's match looks promising for the Robins?
See you at T'he Hill' on Tuesday.
