We are pleased to announce a shuffle of responsibilities moving into the new season, ensuring existing abilities and skills are focused in the right direction and on driving the club forward.

Ever popular Match Reporter, Zeb Baker-Smith, has been offered and accepted the role of Communications Manager for the coming season. Zeb’s match reporting has been both informative and funny, winning him plaudits from across the footballing community. We’re delighted to have Zeb move into this new position where he will continue his great work and oversee extra responsibilities that he has the proven skillset to cover.
Zeb will now be working closely with Ben Hollis, who we’re thrilled has accepted an offer to join the Board of Directors as Director of Commercials and Marketing. Joining as Commercial manager in March, Ben’s fresh approach to working with the local business community to ensure their support of the club is matched with value, return on investment and brand awareness has been refreshing for everyone involved, and his ideas spanning across multiple areas of the club have not gone unnoticed.
Erica King and Martin Walsh have both acc
epted offers to join the Frome board as Directors.
Erika, local businesswoman and owner of Carpet Factory Frome, is already well known to the club having been main shirt sponsors for a number of seasons. Along with her family, she regularly supports the team at matches, as well as being an avid supporter of Frome United.
Martin, bringing a plethora of commercial and 'board of directors' level experience along with a passion for football, cements the relationship between the CBS and the club,
Danny Greaves, of course, stays as Manager, but at Board level he will relinquish all finance responsibilities to Director of Finance, David Parry, in order to put his focus towards the pitch in a move to Director of Football. The Gaffer’s knowledge of football, on and off the pitch, goes without questions and we’re delighted to have Danny move into this new position. In his short time at the club, David Parry has also shown an incredible instinct for financial decisions and an alignment with the clubs goals and objectives.
Derek Graham remains Chairman; Gary Collinson remains Director of Operations and Club Secretary; Lester Silk remains a Director and Chairman of the Supporters Club.
All new and existing members of staff and the board will be around and available to chat to on matchdays, so please feel free to say hi and ask any questions you may have.
