Frome Town FC are delighted to announce that defender Alex Hallett has signed a two-year contract extension with the club.
The promising young centre-back could now potentially stay at Badgers Hill until the end of the 2021/22 season.
Hallett joined the club last summer, signing on dual registration during pre-season from National League South side Chippenham Town.
He impressed Danny Greaves' management team enough with his performances to be offered a one and a half year deal, which he put pen to paper on in November.
Greaves believes Hallett has a very bright future and is "delighted" that he has confirmed his commitment to the club.
He said: "I am delighted Alex has extended his contract with the club. I truly believe Alex has the potential to go higher, and I am delighted he believes Frome can match his short term ambitions.
"This is a big season for him and I am sure he will continue to develop at the rate he has so far, and become a very important member of the side."
Hallett cannot wait to get started again and help The Robins push towards promotion to Southern League Premier South.
He said: "Delighted to be signing for the club again, really looking forward to getting started and pick up where we left off!"
